gkbear koln Re: Indjapink Jan 27, 2010, 3:25 AM I just finish my tour to india with indjapink. I had an incredible time in a beautiful country with a incredible team. Everything was purfect. Indjapink services are very personal, good for a 65 year old bear like me. I transfer more than Euro 5000 & have no problem. Points to note. Cities like delhi & mumbay have a very gud & busy gay life. If u missed it , very bad. I met & made friends with lot of gay men. I had asked indjapink that i wanted to meet some older gay men in india. they throw a private party specially for me in delhi & invited 8 to 10 old gay men & more young men also. Very very nice of them. They arrange massages & escorts for me, they took me to spa & gay night clubs & bar. There was a smiling nice man to recieve me & see me off at all the airports. I stayed at lovely hotels. a good combination of very big like lake palace in udaipur & some small like casa del fauno & old harbour in kerala, but all excellent. I learnt cooking & yoga in kerala. I meet spiritual session in varanasi where indjapink made me stay at a royal palace with only 8 suites, all excellent. varanasi is very touching. I meet persons who make traditional cloth there in handlooms. I also saw the current royal famili's house. I also know about purple dragon but by luck i go with indjapink. It was the best & right decision. Mr. Jacob Van Den Berg Amsterdam 09 November 2009 I would like to share my experiences of three weeks travel, organized and assembled by you. All the topics that were covered in the trip were interesting and based on my request. Now after one week at home I feel so much richer through this experience and when I think back a big smile comes to my face. I would like to give you a big compliment that all worked out great. All the reservations for planes, trains, cars, hotels, special appointments were all happening as agreed. Another big compliment I want to give to the personal attention you gave me before and during the trip. At all times I was in contact with one of you, directly or through the driver or local agent. It gave me a feeling that everything was in control, which helped me to relax regarding the next item in the program. In general all hotels were excellent. I have had no bad experiences anywhere. If I have to list a top 3 it would be: Casa del Fauno as Numero Uno because of beautiful premises, location, and foremost the service of the small crew. Second would be the Shereton in Agra. Although the hotel is enormous, and you could easily feel lost in such a place, the staff, service, food and spa are truly amazing. Third I would put the Taj in Varanasi. In a city like Varanasi, The Gateway is a heaven of luxury and tranquility. Because the city is so crazy, you appreciate it more I guess. Plane reservations were all correct, and all planes left in time. For connecting flight no problems as well. Train ride was very nice. It was nice to have it as part of this total experience. I´m exceptionally pleased with your service. Thank you again for the flowers, Diwali gift, the beautiful costume and your endless care during my trip. I would recommend your service to anyone. I´m pleased I choose for an Indian agent in stead of an European agent. You made me see India through Indian eyes, which I believe made it sometimes hard but so very special. With love, Jacob stephenrandel... Madrid Re: Indjapink 25 October 2009, 18:25 hello, I type this message as we prepare to leave india now. its been a wonderful spectacle, this stunning, diverse country. very sensual, a riot of colour & history. we feel a bit sad that our trip has come to an end but we take back immensely beautiful memories & a resolve to come back again in afew years time. We also owe our thanks to the full team at indjapink, yogi, puneet & sanjay, for making this possible for us at a short notice. they truly are a gem of a tour operator. we just have all praise for them, their efforts & planning & above all their services.we appreciate the little things they did for us, every now & then. such as arranging complimentary massages which were least expected but just appeared when we most needed them. like blocking the room number 109 for us in udaipur. now we understand & appreciate why was the room specially blocked for us. thank you for the most perfect view, right on the lake. thank you for lighting our entire room with candles the first night miguel loved it. we can never forget tht evening . Indjapink....You obviously love what you do & it shows. your arrangements & services have been simply outstanding. We give them 9 points on 10. we will not be surprised to see a perfect score posted here in the near future. we know they are worthy. Namaste. Stephen & Miguel stephenrandel... Madrid Re: Indjapink 16 October 2009, 17:12 hello, writing this message from varanasi sitting in the balcony of our room overlooking the Ghats.would simply say, have spent 03 wonderful days in Delhi before moving ahead here.the team at indjapink is very friendly, caring & with good looking men...;-) ws a bit disspointed as we wre not able to view the marriage ceremony as they had mentioned in there itinerary. they say that it was not an auspious day for hindu marriages to take place. But instead thy arrangd for us to view a sufi music night at the famous Town Hall of the British Era. Must say it ws a magnificant show .the atmosphere ws electrifying... must thank them for arranging it...thy also upgraded us to a 5 * dlx, a surprise fr us. till nw absolutely satisfd with there services.wld give 8 out of 10 point to Indjapink. thank you & much appreciation. Stephen & Miguel de_gamumbai mumbai 22 September 2009, 14:27 Hi everybody, Its wonderful to see so many men writing in with their views & comments. Stephen & Miguel, We had a lovely trip with them, see our earlier post. They do take good care of you. There were times when we thought they were probably more concerned about our tour than we were.lol We also suggest that you go with them. There are not too many agents like them & believe us, we know our country pretty well. They are becoming very popular here in india. Take your trip now before they become too big or busy, which we feel is just a matter of time. de&ga Kalle-Gustafs... Helsinki 21 September 2009, 13:56 stephen i feel they are intelligent & responsible gentlemen. i did not face any problem with money.i think you also will have no problm. i am totally agree with you. the tour they gave me was also very intrsting with gr8 new ideas. i was very keen on indian architecture & spiritualism. they arranged for me to meet 2 spiritual teachers, one in varanasi & one in kerea. the meetings were deeply learning. i also met a historian in khajurao, much btter than a tourist guide & oberved a lot more. one little detail that i forgot to mention is that wherever i went, whichever city, my car alwys had a bottle of my favourite wine, chardonnay, for me. i had informed them that i enjoy a glass or two of wine every evening. they replied by explaining me how good wines are not easily avaliable in small towns so they made the arrangements. go for them. they genuinely take interest in their clients. stephenrandel... Madrid Re: Indjapink 19 September 2009, 13:42 hello we have just recieved a most intersting tour plan from indjapink. we find it very thoughtful & well planned. the itenary is justso different. we seem to be building our confidence in them., in their style of approach, replies. they do seem very knowledgable, proffessional & friendly but most of all they seem to share our passion about our upcoming holiday. we have 5 more plans from other travel agents but nothing has excited us as this one. i think we will like to go indjapink way. they definately are not the cheapest but then as kalle said, we don't want to penny pinch. we do need to transfer funds through bank & we have been given a cut off date. but.we somehoe feel comfortable & ssafe. we recently read their director's speech at IATO, bangalore. else,we would really like to hear if someone has had a wrong experience with them. stephen & miguel Kalle-Gustafs... Helsinki Re: Indjapink 18 September 2009, 15:22 Recently I took a short to break to India using this company Indjapink services. They preapred a gr8 tour for me as I ws a sngle gay travelling & frankly, ws absolutely satisfied with there services.Although one or two incidents occured during the trip which depressed me a bit ...for instance the guide at udaipur asking me to bring my wife & children next time....i ws jst amazed to hear that.. In Kochi , they put me up at a hotel called "The Old Courtyard",where I dint found the staff very friendly...I brought this to there attention. They immediatly shot a mail to their managemnt with a copy to me, mentiong abt my compalint & stricly advsisng the hotel mangemnt that they will nvr use ths hotel again.I ws very impressed by the action they took. I belive they are a new company bt they handled my tour very well. I'm very happy & thnk you will b too. The tour was a bit expensive but it didnt pocket pinched me after enjoying all the services & experence they provided. Kalle. de_gamumbai Mumbai Re: Indjapink 14 September 2009, 12:35 hi njpai, read your comments with interest.i have couple of questions for you. have you dealt with indjapink.? have you taken/used their services? have you taken any of their tours? infact, have you ever even had a communication with them? if answers to the above questions are NO then i will have to believe & say that your comments " lack of travel & tourism knowledge" are immature, without any basis & frankly lack credibility. are you gay? if not, then i am sorry but you have absolutely no idea what it is like to be gay & travel in india & what issues/problems gay men face. i am & i should know . hi eric & steven, i & my boyfriend took a 12 day holiday with indjapink early this year, march/april 2009. i think we were one of their first afew guests. we are based in mumbai & wanted to visit north india but did'nt wish to go to regular , crowded hill stations & the packages of the same offerred by sooo many travel agents. we were celebrating our first anniversary so were looking out for something exciting & well, a bit romantic. And as luck would have it,we ran into indjapink. & boy, were we surprised to find a gay travel site in india? but later ,as we started our communication with them, surprise gave way to sure delight. all i can say is that we found the boys at indjapink very well informed, responsible/ proffesional but most of all very passionate about their work. they put together an amazing tour for us, took us to hidden jewels in north india & himalayas (kanatal ...& we had never ever heard about it). there are couple of experiences which we fondly remember & often recall & would like to share with you.. they arranged a couple's massage( 2 men ,in india...unbelieveble till six months ago) for us in a tent in the middle of a jungle while we were on an overnight trek, all completely lit with scented candles etc. on our last night, we were staying in luxury tents on the banks of river ganges, little beyond rishikesh, as we were river rafting . upon checkin & to our utter surprise & disbelief, we found that our tent & bed was completely decked up in rose petals with our names written across the double bed & in the middle of the bed lay a bottle of champagne( & we never paid or asked for it) with a small messagge scribbled on it " congratulations & god bless". it was the most unforgettable experience., we still have the bottle with us. i don't think and know of any travel agent or tour operator in india who will pay so much attention to these small details/ touches ,especially for gay men. if you do, then please let me know. we will not hesitate to say that they made our tour very, very special & memorable. we will emphatically reccommend them. infact, we have booked ourselves & are eagrly looking forward to their upcoming,an exclusive, gay group tour to GOA in october this year. so,Mr njpai, can we please be more supportive of gay cause & their efforts/ endevours. can we not look at everything with a cynical point of view which is, by the way, so typical of most of indian population. let's not doubt their integrity & expertise without any substantial reason, evidence or facts. lets give it to the boyz for their courage & vision, to tread where no indian has tread before. that itself calls for an applause. de & ga.
